Harwood Museum of Art seeks a dynamic Collections Associate. This key staff member receives, prepares, and catalogs new materials; coordinates and organizes exhibition related movement of objects, including packing, shipping, and insurance for collections exhibitions and incoming and outgoing loans to/from the Museum. Coordinates access to collection for study, teaching, and research. Coordinates and facilitates ongoing reports to track maintenance activity and updates to the database of collection contents. Coordinates publicity and publications related to the collection and exhibitions including copyright permissions and images. May supervise museum personnel, volunteers, and/or students.

The University of New Mexico Foundation is seeking a talented fundraising professional to implement a comprehensive major gift development program to support the Harwood Museum of Art of the University of New Mexico. The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Director of the Harwood Museum of Art, the Vice President of Central Development at the UNM Foundation, and museum staff and volunteers to identify and cultivate prospects, develop strategies leading to solicitation, and steward major donors. The Foundation’s development officers play a vital role in UNM’s comprehensive campaign to raise over $1B for philanthropic initiatives over the course of a decade.

Harwood Museum of Art of the University of New Mexico based off-campus in Taos, New Mexico, seeks a dynamic Marketing and Outreach Coordinator. This key staff member develops and coordinates a wide variety of marketing and outreach initiatives designed to effectively engage a wide range of audiences to build physical and digital engagement and attendance, as well as to grow membership and philanthropy, thereby increasing earned and contributed revenue needed to support the the museum.
In conjunction with the Executive Director and a contract marketing firm, the Marketing and Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for implementing comprehensive and strategic communications and marketing plans that provide effective public awareness and audience engagement across printed materials, digital platforms, public relations, and community events. This position is responsible for coordinating marketing with a cross-departmental team and with external vendors. This position may supervise staff and volunteers in implementing the museum’s communication and audience engagement initiatives.
