Event Details

D.H. and Frieda Lawrence first visited Taos in September of 1922 — 100 years ago. As part of the centennial celebration, the D.H. Lawrence Ranch Initiatives will a screen a 43-minute documentary, produced and directed by Canadian filmmaker Peter Davis. This seldom seen 1969 film features Lawrence’s contemporaries and early biographers in conversation about the author’s life  and legacy in New Mexico.

After the screening, Bill Haller, President of the Friends of D.H. Lawrence, will lead a short audience discussion.

This event is hosted by the D.H. Lawrence Ranch Initiative.
